Forged by the North.
Single malt Canadian whisky, distilled on the shores of Lake Superior and aged in our lakeside warehouses. Every bottle carries the character of the land that made it.
Born on
Superior's Shore
In 2014, we broke ground on a granite bluff overlooking Lake Superior, just north of the Soo. The lake gives us our water. The northern climate gives us our character. The long, cold winters force the whisky deeper into the oak — and pull out flavours that warmer distilleries can only dream of.
We don't rush. Our youngest expression sits for twelve years before it earns the label. Most of it sits longer.

Select
Local Grain,
Hand-Chosen
Heritage barley from farms within 200 kilometres. We know the growers by name. Each harvest is tasted, tested, and selected before a single kernel enters the malt floor.
Ferment
Wild Yeast,
Slow Conversion
Open-air fermentation captures wild yeast from the lakeside air. The wash ferments for five days — twice the industry standard — developing esters and complexity that fast fermentation destroys.
Distill
Copper Pot,
Double Run
Our hand-hammered copper pot stills run slow. Double distillation with aggressive cuts — we keep only the heart. What comes off the still is clean, complex, and unmistakably Northern.
Age
Lake-Effect
Maturation
Ex-bourbon American oak, racked in our lakeside warehouses. The 60-degree temperature swings between Superior's winters and summers push the spirit deep into the wood and pull it back out — twelve years of breathing with the lake.
Twelve Years
in the Making
What the Years Give Back
Nose
Warm honey and toasted oak on the first breath. Dried apricot, vanilla bean, and a whisper of woodsmoke from the lakeside air. A faint minerality underneath — the granite showing through.
Palate
Rich and full-bodied. Caramel and dark toffee lead, followed by baking spice — cinnamon, nutmeg, a touch of black pepper. Dried fruit mid-palate. The mouthfeel is silky, almost oily, with a gentle warmth.
Finish
Long and warming. The oak lingers with toasted almond and a dry, elegant bitterness. A final note of raw honey fades slowly — the kind of finish that makes you wait before the next sip.
Three Expressions
Same distillery. Same standards. Different stories.
Original
The foundation. Clean, complex, and endlessly drinkable. Our signature expression — the one that started it all.
